Silkies, Bantams etc or ‘Toy chickens’, may only lay 50 eggs per year.
Toy chickens are generally harder to get and more expensive, adult hens may cost upwards of $40.

Sick chicks
If the droppings are not solid, chook may have upset belly,if you ate dirt you may have an upset belly too. put some sulphur quinn in water, can be purchased from most pet shops.
sneezing, gunk near nostrills, chook may have a cold, segregate chook keep warm at night, as long as has healthy appetite, chook should be ok.
If chook wont eat try putting food, next to pen, so other chooks try to get but just cant, put sick chook next to feed and try to bring on the jealous emotion, ie the sick chook aint hungry but, seems to want what others want, and like us a healthy appetite can keep you healthy.
